Apogee ecologists have extensive experience with small mammal surveys. Our personnel have conducted many small mammal surveys for state threatened and endangered species including the Allegheny woodrat (Neotoma magister) and marsh rice rat (Oryzomys palustris). Along with surveying for these species, staff ecologists have participated in mitigation and preservation of habitat for these species. Apogee ecologists have conducted numerous small mammal surveying projects, are knowledgeable in methodologies and protocols, and permitted in the eastern United States by appropriate regulatory agencies.
